Roblox Evade Beginner Guide: Rounds, Downs, Revives and Not Dying
Evade is simple to lose and surprisingly deep to win: a nextbot spawns, everyone runs, and the players still standing when the timer ends take the points. This guide covers the loop that keeps you on the right side of that timer.
The round loop
Each round drops the lobby onto a map from the pool with one or more nextbots hunting. Get touched and you’re downed — not dead. Teammates can revive you; bleed out and you spectate until next round. Survive to the end for points, which feed cosmetics and perk purchases. Free points come from codes — redeem them before you grind anything.
The three habits that separate survivors
- Rotate, don’t sprint-panic. Bots chase the nearest target in line of sight; breaking line of sight around corners beats raw speed every time. Learn two loop routes per map and you’ll outlive players with faster reflexes.
- Revive in cover, not in the open. A downed teammate is bait — for you. Drag the chase away first, circle back, then revive. The Stethoscope perk makes this dramatically safer.
- Watch the kill feed. When half the lobby goes down at once, the bot is camping a choke — that’s your cue to hold the opposite side of the map.
First perk purchases
Movement first (speed keeps you alive while you learn), Stethoscope second (squad value), Briefcase third (XP compounding). Full reasoning on the perks page.
Right now is a good time to start
